These internet-based mailing lists were respectively dedicated to discussion on Orthopaedics and Traumatology, complicated limb reconstruction discussion, and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine discussion. In 2000, they were the lists were automatised, and were taken over by Orthogate, a non-profit educational Orthopaedic organisation.
- Member of the initial Working Party on Medical Informatics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since its inception (November 1999). The Working Party is now preparing the modules for a Diploma in Medical Informatics, launched in October 2000.
